She's a Scrubber

That up there is a comic. Down here is some interesting text about the comic. It's got fun information about it like 'That effect on the graffiti from the last strip involved playing around with the eraser tool' and 'armpit stubble is seldom featured in webcomics: this is where we plan to corner the market.'
I mean, not very interesting stuff. But anyway. Thanks to the people who e-mailed after the last rant to say they enjoy the comic: it's nice to hear. I hope a few of you e-mailed the other talented people making webcomics to say you enjoy what they're doing. Here's a few more links:

Erfworld is an odd little gem of a fantasy comic that mixes tabletop rpgs with gamer culture: it's twenty-some pages in right now, and it's developing brilliantly.
The Act-I-Vate Project just celebrated its first anniversary: a livejournal community of different pro comic creators making weekly serials. There's a big enough roster that's there's two or three updates a day, usually, and as with any kind of community project it's nt important that you like everything they do, just that some of it catches your attention. My particular favourites are Dean Haspiel's 'Billy Dogma' comics, Leland Purvis's wordless 'Vulcan & Vishnu' odyssey, and Ryan Roman's offbeat superhero epic 'Kid Zero'.
Nedroid Comics is full of strange, funny and wonderful little comics. Beartato is a personal favourite.
High Maintenance Machine is a diary comic by Matthew Reidsma. It's consistently brilliant and updates so much more often than Shit Happens that I'm almost ashamed to post a link to it. Except that I have no shame.
Tasty Human Meat is a regularly updated comic about posers, hipsters, and the people who poke holes in their pretensions. Except it's a lot better than that other comic about hipsters with the robot in because they're all fish and squid and whales in this one.
