Thirty Pieces of Silver

I'm not sure why Rio seems to like drawing on his desk quite so much. Perhaps the reason is simply that I forgot to ink the piece of paper in under his hand; or perhaps the reason is very different, strange and unusual.

The problem with a plot-driven strip like this is there are occasionally strips in which nothing much happens, save two people talking on different ends of a phone. A lot of facial acting is required, largely achieved with the use of eyebrows: Ormrod's mighty caterpillar-brows with their majestic arc and swoop, squiggling off at the ends like Professor Xavier of the X-Men.
