...Shit Happened

Ah, there we are. The end of the flashback, the end of these nine-panel strips, the end of these huge filesizes. I have no idea why largely greyscale files take up more filesize than colour files. It's quite odd.

Lots of stuff in today's strip, surprisingly - a Munch homage, an action shot (I hardly ever draw those), a photo referenced panel that actually looks like I only referenced it and didn't just copy it, a rather rude phrase in Russian, a lazy silhouette panel (my script even refers to it as 'Halifax in silhouette. Woo-hoo! Lazy panel!) and a panel where I used my girlfriend as an artist's model. (She was surprisingly receptive to my request 'kneel down and pretend I'm dead'. Heh.)

Best bits: Holly kneeling in front of the grave; the 'punch' panel.
Worst bits: no backgrounds; Jack Palomino looks a little too much like Mason Lang of 'The Invisibles'.
