Fear & Loathing in Milton Hoight, Part Fifteen
28-06-04
This is by far the larget strip yet, in terms of both filesize (double the size I consider the usual 'maximum') and also in terms of dimensions. I guess if you're reading this you've already noticed it's about four times longer than the typical 'one page' strips, and twice the length of the few 'extended' strips that precede this one.
Which is less 'I'm making great use of the infinite canvas' and more 'I'm trying to get this storyline over with as quickly as possible'.
The next strip should be the final part of Milton Hoight, unless I decide to do an epilogue, which in any case would only be a one-pager.
After Milton Hoight ends, there'll be the long-announced 'Long Dark Night of the Living Dead' arc that was due to go up in February, ably scripted and drawn by my wonderful girlfriend Mary. I hasten to add that the delay on that story arc is not due to her, but rather due to the fact that she's the third artist the arc has had.
I failed after half a strip. Mister Appleby drew up two strips but only one was scripted, and neither got coloured. But Mary has shamed us both by completing five strips in the space of a week, from scripting all the way through art, to scanning and resizing. Truly, Almighty Bob hath sent her.
Be here in a few for the conclusion of Fear & Loathing in Milton Hoight.
