Fear & Loathing in Milton Hoight
24-06-04
Several points:
Panel One: Ormrod is sporting the facial expression of Kiefer Sutherland/a gerbil.
Panel Two: Halifax is played by his stunt double, a young European male model called Tom. Tom likes smoking thin cigarettes outside French cafes and enjoys having sex with female gendarmes.
Panel Three: Yeh, she looks a bit older than she should, and has lost the supposed Asian half of her DNA. And her cellphone is an oversized oven chip.
Panel Four: I've been reading a lot of 'Gunsmith Cats' recently, and Ormrod managed to pick up Bean Bandit's chin for this panel. Bean rocks!
Panel Five: No, I don't know why he hasn't got his hands up to stop Halifax from yanking the plaster off his nose. The plaster being used to hide an unsightly scar is my ubergeek reference to Quentin Tarantino, since they did the same to Ving Rhames's neck in Pulp Fiction.
Panel Six: Ormrod looks like an old Japanese painting of a samurai or something, with the weird eyes and big nose. Halifax also has a huge nose, because moments before this shot he was attacked by a Barry Manilow gun.
