First off, note the two new additions to the webcomic link bar on the left, Wapsi Square and Diesel Sweeties. You should check them both out, they had me laughing like a cat on crack. (Please, do not call the authorities. Rest assured that I have not been testing similes on animals.)

And now the DVD commentary on today's strip: well, it's essentially my laziness allowing me the chance to indulge in one of those snappy back-and-forth exchanges you see in movies, like Holden and Hooper in 'Chasing Amy'.
This is, as with many of the strips that appear here, not the same as the first draft of the script. The first draft was eight panels long, with four lines of dialogue in each and would have been a complete mess. So you'll never know Halifax's theory on why kids would nick a cement mixer.
Oh, and that is what work experience kids are for.
